I am so happy that you have landed in my little corner of cyberspace. If you join me here, you will, hopefully, get to know a little about me. You will read my thoughts, my hopes and dreams, and see some of my favorite things. I hope you will visit often. I will try to update it regularly and hopefully you will see an improvement in the blog along the way. Thank you for stopping in to see me as I travel on this journey called "life"!

I stumbled across Unknown Mami some time ago and thought the Sundays in My City meme was a fun way to share our little corners of the world.

I had hoped some day to be able to link up and since today was such a beautiful winter day here in New Hampshire, I thought I would share what a Sunday looks like around here.  I hope you enjoy!

When you have as much snow as we have had up here this winter (and I think this is pretty normal!), you might as well get out and enjoy the snow.  One way to enjoy the snow is with sledding....

Another way to enjoy the snow is ice skating.  They flood the town Common every year and have a public ice skating rink.  The kids, adults and dogs alike were out there enjoying a nice day.

I hope you enjoyed a great weekend.  It has been fun today except for my Internet connection.  For some reason, I have had trouble uploading my photos and trouble publishing this blog post.

Have a great week!

  1. Looks absolutely lovely. Can I just say I'm a bit jealous of all that snow? We see very little out here in the desert! :)

  2. It really was a beautiful day. Gorgeous clear skies.

  3. That was beautiful. I love all the pictures. That 3rd one looks like a picture on a postcard. One of these days I hope I can come and visit you.

  4. Oh, Candace! These are amazing!! What a beautiful place you live in!

  5. Gorgeous photos my friend! I'm having trouble with the internet connection this evening so hopefully this will publish.

Thanks so much for sharing your corner of the world ~ I so enjoy seeing it. Hope all is well and that you have a wonder*filled week!

  6. Your town is so picturesque! I skated outside once...during a short term exchange with a school in Minnesota! It was so incredibly neat!

  7. It's so nice to see that Canada isn't the only place with snow :)
    Those are really lovely photo's!

  8. I used to love to ice skate as a child. One Christmas I received new ice skates. It was so exciting. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week. Blessings, SusanD

  9. Your new town is lovely - being from Louisiana the snow must be a new experience for you. You've truly captured it!

  10. You live in a beautiful place! Great photo's!

  11. Wow, is this your every day view? It's so picturesque. Way different than Lousiana, tho, huh? I like the series of pics of the kid coming down the slope-all in focus, too. Well done. blessings, k

  12. This looks like absolutely lovely place to live!! You can be sure I am a tad envious!! We were **this** close to coming up your way next weekend. We have two plane tickets into Boston for this coming Friday!! We were so certain the Patriots were going to pull it off :( We're still considering a quick weekend getaway but we may save the tickets for another trip this year. We have a few days to decide :)

  13. You live in a beautiful part of the world. The crisp blue sky over the icy white snow is stunning. I would love to visit a place that has an ice skating place open to all, and perhaps even learn to ice skate.

  14. How fun! I love the church photos.

  15. Looks like a lot of snow!!
