It was a beautiful Saturday to get out and
enjoy the weather and take in this fun country fair.
with animals...
and antique tractors...
and lumberjack events...
local agricultural products...
and artwork by local artists...
and no fair is complete with french fries...
and vinegar.
You can't forget the vinegar.
They are quintessentially New England.

I have been busy looking at real estate in that neck of the woods. It is so lovely there. Of course everything I like is so out of reach. I am making a note of the fair dates for this coming year. I love a good country fair.
ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of fun, fairs always are in my book! But I have to say, that spray bottle of vinegar is genius...
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful time. I love that introductory poster! and of course, the sheep. I'm a big fan of sheep. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love New England fairs & french fries with vinegar.
ReplyDeleteLove that french fries, adding vinegar must be delicious, tanginess yumm. I wish I can travel all those fairs, but with two kids it is really hard .
ReplyDeleteAfter a big snowstorm today (and the storm is not finished - 8" so far) here in WI, reading about a fair in August was very refreshing and comforting. OH and those french fries.....very comforting, yum! Never tried vineger sprayed on them, but I am sure I would try it. (with a little ketchup of course :) )
ReplyDeleteGosh that looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the vinegar on fries. Yum oh...love it!
Hugs,
Kat
