Or maybe a Louisiana Roll instead.....full of yummy tempura shrimp....topped with thin strips of fried catfish
And then later....we are ready for some football!
GEAUX TIGERS!!
Have a great Saturday!
Did I tell you my son got season tickets? He was/is very excited!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the game!
No, you didn't tell me! I thought he would be able to get tickets for the games. It's a perk of being a student down there. I have heard that a game in "Death Valley" is quite the experience. I work for an attorney who went to Law School there...in fact, every attorney in our office graduated from there. One day maybe I can be there for a game. :0)
ReplyDeleteI'm for the "other" tigers, Candace. The War Eagle ones. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that food.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day whichever way you go!!! :O)
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out my blog! That sushi looks great :)
ReplyDeleteYay for football season- my blog always has some wacky Saints posts from our household!
Looks like a fantastic day!!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI go for the food only. But then I am not over in teh USA. Hope being a football fan of any kind is not a pre-requisite for my Green Card ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful eve
That was a heck of a game last night! It had hubby & I on the edge of our seats!
ReplyDeleteOh! wasn't the game greaet well kinda of until the end of course when we almost lost! Ughh! At least we pulled it off! Great post!
ReplyDeletePaula - Thanks so much for stopping by. You don't have to love football to be a citizen....although you are moving to the South, I believe...so it does help! You will probably love tailgating. :0)
ReplyDeleteMary - Thanks for stopping by! I ended up with a high fever and a terrible headache and went to sleep halfway through it. It was great while I was watching it....and then I heard that LSU didn't play so well in the second half. That figures. :0)
Kitchen Belle - Thanks so much for stopping by! I was loving the first part of the game and then I got a massive headache and some fever and ended up sleeping through the rest of the game. I heard later that they didn't look so good in the second half. I'm glad they pulled it off. I'm ready to see them play well again!
Oh my, that food looks delish! I kinda think the Louisiana type might be better though. :-) I've been away from the computer a lot this past week but have been thinking of you and keeping Julz and her family in prayer.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great holiday weekend!
xoxo
Pat
Thanks so much for stopping by Pat! It's good to hear from you again. I'm not a huge fan of Louisiana Cuisine...except the seafood...and well, we all know how that has turned out. We really appreciate your thoughts and prayers for Julz. She's doing great! I hope you've been away from the computer doing fun stuff. I haven't been around very much either....doing some not so fun stuff. :0)
ReplyDeleteHappy Labor Day to you ~ Candace
Ha! I dislike Japanese food and football but I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on mine!
