Candace, it looks great! Wish you could send me some. I have never grown my own but now you have me excite to do so. Guess, I will have to wait til next year though

ReplyDeletewow, i haven't tried growing broccoli, but my eggplants, tomatoes, okra and green beans are doing so well. what else did you grow this year?
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I attempted it once here, but the heat is too much - you only get teensy tiny heads.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. That looks wonderful. I've tried to grow it several times and always failed. You've got the "green thumb." (and all the rest of the green fingers, too) :)

ReplyDeleteOh your so lucky. the last time I grew some, it was covered by green caterpillars, I've been to afraid to grow them again.
ReplyDeleteCandace, this was my first year of growing broccoli successfully too!!! And you are spot on - it tastes amazing! So much better than the store bought. My kids were snipping it off and eating it right in the garden. I love your b & w photo of it!! ;)

Hey, congratulations! That's a winter vegetable down here (of course you know this already), so it's fun to see it as a summer vegetable UP there. I think my biggest garden surprise is how FANTASTICALLY different home grown vegetables taste. My favorite example: green beans....oh my!

Nice :) Those broccoli are looking good!
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like homegrown produce. It's always a thrill to harvest your own. Your broccoli looks great! Love the B/W.
ReplyDeleteVegetables are a bit like cookies, they always taste better when they're your own :-). This is my first visit to your site and I took some time to browse through your earlier posts. You really take beautiful pictures. I'll definitely be back. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
