Ya never know WHAT you'll find in an antique store, huh??? :)
ReplyDeleteYou certainly don't see those every day. Cool find. :O)
ReplyDeleteLove it. How funny though to be by the china.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw this picture, I thought, "Now that's one way to get out of doing dishes, blow them up." Funny.
ReplyDeleteLove and Peace,
What an odd thing to find for sale in a thrift shop! Too funny! :D
ReplyDeleteHa ha, that's cool!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! The moment I saw yur canon I thought Dang!~ I just flipped thru a set of my pictures from whem we visited the Vicksburg battle field in MS and I had some fabulous canon perspectives....ah, maybe next time!
ReplyDeleteWatch that china when it goes off!! Haha - great post and quite original!
ReplyDeleteThat's really interesting. Love the choice to put the cannon in front of the china!
ReplyDeleteWell-- that is cool!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my neck of the world. Where did you settle down? Born and raised here. Traveled some but finally settled myself down on the coast.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love NE antique/curio shops? Everything just jammed in wherever it fits? Great capture of our weirdness.

cannon - always reminds me of a tv show starring Wm Conrad.

Fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all your photographs, Candace. What a beautiful place you have here!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
ReplyDeleteSo did you buy it? Nothing says 'welcome' like a cannon sitting in the front yard!

Cool!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted a Civil War cannon to place at the edge of our hill. I figure that what the 117 pound German Shepherd can't do, the cannon can take care of. LOL (jk of course)
A disconcerting juxtaposition. Is the cannon actually defending the china?!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a wonderful contribution to ABC Wednesday,
