Ain't that the truth?!

I got this in email today and
could totally relate to it.

Can you?

It's my first summer in a long time without air conditioning.  I'm cranky....but not dying.  I've just been spoiled with central air conditioning.

  Down south, it's a necessity
...not a luxury.

I'm glad that the heat doesn't last long here.  I'm pretty sure that I'm going to make it through.

I hope wherever you are that you are able to keep cool.  Have a beautiful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

  1. i actually never turn my A/C on but I'm also perfectly comfortable in 90 degree weather...some weird internal body temp issue. I think you'll make it!

  5. This is so hilarious! BTW, in Central Europe plus Spain and Portugal we use corn to feed the animals, we do not eat it. Well, rather seldom though! Can you imagine my surprise finding them at the produce section?

  13. We do not have central air either, but we do have window units in our bedrooms. Maybe you could get one of those so you can at least sleep? Don't worry though, the heat doesn't last too long up north. ;)

  15. Cute comic. You'll be fine in the heat. Then again don't listen to me. I speak in jealousy that you have heat at all - it's dead of winter here! Urgh.

  16. That is funny! The heat not so much. Central a/c here, too, and it been cranking for months. Not a fan of the heat at all. I never once complained when it snowed :)

  19. Hi Candace,
Thanks for stopping by and leaving that nice comment. And thanks for your prayers for my wife. It's a blessing to have blog friends like you.
Now about that comic...it's so funny! Can I put it on my garden blog? I'd love share it around. We would all be 'popped' by now with this almost rainless summer down here. Hope you get some cool weather soon up there.
BTW: Your Mexican-inspired post made me very hungry. Boy that looks good.
