I am thinking of.....

Japanese food today......

An Asparagus Roll......an Amigo Roll.... some yummy Spicy Ginger Sauce....maybe some Miso Soup.....some Sesame Chicken......oh yeah!

Or maybe a Louisiana Roll instead.....full of yummy tempura shrimp....topped with thin strips of fried catfish

Perfect menu for a day of not cooking and working around the house some more.

And then later....we are ready for some football!

  1. Did I tell you my son got season tickets? He was/is very excited!

    Enjoy the game!

  2. No, you didn't tell me! I thought he would be able to get tickets for the games. It's a perk of being a student down there. I have heard that a game in "Death Valley" is quite the experience. I work for an attorney who went to Law School there...in fact, every attorney in our office graduated from there. One day maybe I can be there for a game. :0)

  10. Paula - Thanks so much for stopping by. You don't have to love football to be a citizen....although you are moving to the South, I believe...so it does help! You will probably love tailgating. :0)

Mary - Thanks for stopping by! I ended up with a high fever and a terrible headache and went to sleep halfway through it. It was great while I was watching it....and then I heard that LSU didn't play so well in the second half. That figures. :0)

Kitchen Belle - Thanks so much for stopping by! I was loving the first part of the game and then I got a massive headache and some fever and ended up sleeping through the rest of the game. I heard later that they didn't look so good in the second half. I'm glad they pulled it off. I'm ready to see them play well again!

  11. Oh my, that food looks delish! I kinda think the Louisiana type might be better though. :-) I've been away from the computer a lot this past week but have been thinking of you and keeping Julz and her family in prayer.

Hope you're having a great holiday weekend!

    xoxo

  12. Thanks so much for stopping by Pat! It's good to hear from you again. I'm not a huge fan of Louisiana Cuisine...except the seafood...and well, we all know how that has turned out. We really appreciate your thoughts and prayers for Julz. She's doing great! I hope you've been away from the computer doing fun stuff. I haven't been around very much either....doing some not so fun stuff. :0)

Happy Labor Day to you ~ Candace
