SUNDAYS IN MY CITY - WINTER EDITION

I stumbled across Unknown Mami some time ago and thought the Sundays in My City meme was a fun way to share our little corners of the world.

I had hoped some day to be able to link up and since today was such a beautiful winter day here in New Hampshire, I thought I would share what a Sunday looks like around here.  I hope you enjoy!

When you have as much snow as we have had up here this winter (and I think this is pretty normal!), you might as well get out and enjoy the snow.  One way to enjoy the snow is with sledding....

Another way to enjoy the snow is ice skating.  They flood the town Common every year and have a public ice skating rink.  The kids, adults and dogs alike were out there enjoying a nice day.

I hope you enjoyed a great weekend.  It has been fun today except for my Internet connection.  For some reason, I have had trouble uploading my photos and trouble publishing this blog post.

Have a great week!

  1. Looks absolutely lovely. Can I just say I'm a bit jealous of all that snow? We see very little out here in the desert! :)

  6. Your town is so picturesque! I skated outside once...during a short term exchange with a school in Minnesota! It was so incredibly neat!

  11. Wow, is this your every day view? It's so picturesque. Way different than Lousiana, tho, huh? I like the series of pics of the kid coming down the slope-all in focus, too. Well done. blessings, k

  12. This looks like absolutely lovely place to live!! You can be sure I am a tad envious!! We were **this** close to coming up your way next weekend. We have two plane tickets into Boston for this coming Friday!! We were so certain the Patriots were going to pull it off :( We're still considering a quick weekend getaway but we may save the tickets for another trip this year. We have a few days to decide :)

  13. You live in a beautiful part of the world. The crisp blue sky over the icy white snow is stunning. I would love to visit a place that has an ice skating place open to all, and perhaps even learn to ice skate.
