Grilling Pizza on Labor Day!

Hi Friends!

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful long weekend.  I tried to get this posted before bed last night; but I failed.  Another reminder to me that I need a faster Internet connection.

We ended our weekend with a bang today by grilling pizza at a friend's house.  This is something that we have talked about doing for awhile and we finally got the opportunity to get together and experiment.  It was the first time trying to grill pizza and I must say it was a success!

ha!  How cool is this shot?!  Nice job, David!

G has her pizza mojo going on!
Only a minute or two on the grill & time to turn!
Oh yeah....these are looking good now!
Time to top them off!

Yummy goat cheese & marinara & spinach
Prosciutto & Smoked Provolone

Pesto, Mozzarella & Tomato Pizza plus....

Some yummy goat cheese to top it off!

Next we have marinara, mozzarella, baby spinach &....

Topped off with some yummy fresh tomatoes!

Spicy BBQ Sauce, Chicken, Mozzarella, Caramelized Onions, and Cilantro

OH MY!  These were all so good.....
Ready for the grill!

Don't they look yummy!
Here are a few more creations!
They only take a few minutes on the grill!
Doesn't this BBQ Chicken Pizza look yummy?
Almost time to eat!
We have our love and joy!
And we can't forget PEACE, man!
It looks hot!
And gooey!
How is it, G?
I think she likes it!
Time to put the camera down & see for myself!
Hot and yummy!
And oh so good!
We can't forget dessert!  Refreshing Lemon Cake!
And a good day was had by all!  Thanks, G!
Next time, I think we should make Summer Rolls.......

And that's how we do it down here in da Bayou State!

  2. Thanks so much, Diane! They turned out really well and were so easy! I had no idea....

We used just regular refrigerated pizza dough in the tube. We divided it up into fourths and just experimented with them. It was a lot of fun!
