Photo Roulette

Good Morning and Happy Saturday!

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend with the people that you love.  I am linking up for the second weekend in a row with CARA over at MISCHIEF AND LAUGHS for her fun PHOTO ROULETTE.

I know it says "Friday" on the button...but the party goes on until Tuesday....seriously....and you had more than enough of me on Friday already, right?

If you would like to participate or you want to just see some great photos, go over and see CARA.  She has a beautiful family and a great blog and she's just a really sweet person that you will enjoy meeting.

For this fun party, we dig back into our photo files and pull a specific photo.  This week, CARA has chosen for us to pull the photo sits in the 1st folder - 18th position or the last photo or whatever.  Just post something that fits at random without looking at your photos first.

Here is my entry....
The wild wisteria that blooms every year in the forest behind my house.
Enjoy your weekend!  I'm off to watch some great "fall scenes" from  THIS OLD HOUSE that I have dvr'd.  There's nothing better than fall in New England and those lovely old houses.

  2. Thank you! It grows like a weed down here and tends to infest everything. Some people don't like it; but I do! I think it brings a lot of color to nasty old southern pine trees.

Happy Weekend to you, my friend!

  8. That's wonderful, I love wisteria. It reminds me of when my mom used to take me downtown as a girl. One of the areas outside of the buildings in my hometown had a covered walkway with huge beautiful wisteria vines...
    Thanks for linking up!

  9. Wisteria is absolutely beautiful! My in-laws used to have a lot of it in their yard (before the tornado 3 years ago, that it!).
I completely forgot about this meme...I need to remember next week! I even have the button on my site and STILL forgot!

  10. Gorgeous!! LOVE this picture! I'm an avid gardener, but admit I've never tried to grow wisteria. I've never lived in the appropriate climate for it. This picture makes me want to try! Just beautiful, thanks for sharing!!

I have quite a few of these wisteria photos in that same folder. I may have to share them in a blog post sometime. It seems that I'm not the only one that likes it.

    Have a great weekend,

  12. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I only wish we had such beauty behind our house - we have a lot of overgrown weeds that are starting to look like small trees. Not pretty.

  13. Thank you for stopping by, Ashley! The wisteria is pretty but it only shows up one time per year and I have to look up pretty high to see it. Below it is a lot of overgrown weeds that look like small trees. It's not pretty here either. :0)

    Have a great weekend!

  14. Wisteria. I have always thought it a pretty name for a pretty vine. Technically, it's a vine, isn't it? It's so lovely. Of course, I am partial to anything purple. Wisteria. Wistfulness mixed with some eria or mystery. Maybe that's why they put the desperate housewives on Wisteria Lane. Never thought of that before. Wistfulness mixed with mystery. Anyway, it is a lovely photo. Hope you had a good Saturday. I see that it is nearly over...

  15. I had never thought about that, Robin. Wistfulness mixed with mystery. I will have to ponder that one. Wisteria is a vine...and there are wisteria trees as well. It grows like a weed here in Louisiana and is very invasive. I'm just happy it's so beautiful. Let it grow let it grow let it grow! I have had a great Saturday, thanks! I hope you have as well! Thanks so much for stopping by, Candace

  16. Candace, your photo is very pretty. There is something about a wisteria vine that makes me think, Victorian. I don't know why. Thank you for stopping by my blog this evening. It is so nice to know that we are a circle of friends. Gerry
